Probably it was originally going to be its BGM, but they decided to switch things around. The BGM for the Parking Lot stage is different, it sounds like the Underground BGM. There seems to be no bystanders/people/crowd at all in the Airport stage.įor whatever reason, Law's pants is green. The BGM for the Jungle stage, interestingly enough, is the Stage 3 theme from Devil Within! Surprising how most people say that this piece of music actually gives them Tekken 4 vibes, well, looks like it was indeed intended to be used in Tekken 4 at some point, but was scrapped and they thought it would be a good idea to be reused in the next game. Hitsparks look different in comparison to the final version. The way how it transitions to Replay after a round ends is quite odd. The camera doesn't pan to the fighters the moment the announcer says Round 1.

Also, (Character) Wins text color is blue rather than red. Note that Fight! isn't shown/implemented at all. Text stuff like Round #, Ready?, KO, Perfect, Wins #, and Replay look dull/simple in comparison to the final version. The lifebars look more redder in comparison to the final version. Intro poses of characters are somehow in a different angle. In some parts of the trailer, Steve's early name, which is Dean, is seen underneath his lifebar.Īlso, in the same trailer, the announcer says things we never hear in the actual game, which are, " Produced by Namco." and " Go!" Honestly, this version of the select screen looks better. No fog background, Christie and Marduk are missing in the default/initial character line-up, images of stages look slightly different from final version, and the character's name box look slightly different too.
